Linhart Petersen Powers Training Institute in Citrus Heights, CA. The Institute focuses on teaching recognized methods of established inspection techniques to those preparing for this career. Our comprehensive course study program introduces students to methodology, philosophy and interpretation of the codes. Complete training for permit technicians, plan review, and residential combination building inspection is offered and course studies will highlight the building, mechanical, plumbing, and electrical aspects of these tracks.

The Training Institute is one of the most highly regarded training institutes in Northern California. Our clients include the Department of Labor, State Department of Employment (EDD), California Work Net, Federal Work Force, State Department of Rehabilitation, Vocational Rehabilitation Counselors, and recently the Federal Apprenticeship program.

With 93% of the graduates passing the ICBO Building Inspectors exam and a 78% employment rate, the institute has a proven method of providing skilled first time inspectors. To date, the program has provided LP²A with 10 new employees working from the Bay Area to the Sacramento Valley. In addition, 23 of the graduates are working for other jurisdictions in California, Colorado, Arizona, Nevada and New Mexico.
